He's been to that place and he says it shouldn't cost nearly that much. I wish David would do a bargain break version with the same activities, but instead just tour the sacred sites of Britain. I'd like to go on that.

Maybe I'm just jealous because there's no way I could ever afford that trip, even before I was kicked out of Hospital Portering.

Not going unnoticed by the DIF faithful, a thread was started questioning why David would be involved in such an expensively elitist venture, particularly during a time of financial hardship. The forum admin dismissed criticism by saying that the tour is not organized by David and he will not make a penny from it. The "only" benefit to Dave would be a free place on the tour as a birthday present for all the "good work". Some rejected these excuses as nonsense, and coupled with the price, that it was nothing more than "taking the piss". Of course, DIF is David's and he'll have it run how he pleases. He can't afford to let opinions and valid discussion of his peers get in the way of site traffic and revenue. Apparently he needs all the money he can get due to the legal actions being taken against him, which is something he'd never threaten to do to his fellow truthseeking brothers who agreed with him that "infinite love is the only truth".

With a sell out event, 1,500 people paid at least $70 a ticket (VIP were $90, I know as I was offered one ), which equates to a minimum $105,000 ... minus the $15,000 Adam states for the cost of renting the venue ... and you are left with $90,000.
Even with 50 staff at $200 a day each, that only brings it down to $80,000.
Even if the rest of the costs, lighting, video, audio, etc, cost $20,000 for a day to hire, that still leaves $60,000.
Easy money for a one day event.

Add to this the bonus of DVD sales, at $55 each one, then with only 1,000 items sold, you can add $55,000 (minus item costs) to the total.

DI is paid to come out ... in other words all expenses that DI would incur are paid for (ticket, hotel, etc).

After expenses are paid on the event, what percentage goes to whom ?

Does Adam like he claims make the profit on the DVD sales ?

And does this then mean that DI made the profit on the tickets sales ?

From a minimalist view, the event alone could well have generated $160,000, of which 25% equates to $40,000.
Of course, if you believe the ones selling, they don't make a lot of money out of what they do.
