HE looks like a horse - and eats about much as one too -
but young great dane pup York could be set for the record books.
York is only 13 months old and already measures 97cm - and he's still growing.
Owner Dave Ryan predicts York will eventually be bigger than the world record
holder, who measures 105cm. Mr Ryan said although his beloved seemed
big and scary, he was a "friendly giant" and "actually really calm".

"I
didn't expect him to be this big when we first bought him but I
definitely think that he will grow to be the world's biggest dog," Mr
Ryan said.
York's size isn't the only thing of gigantic proportion his owners have to deal with - there is also the food bill.
Mr Ryan said he ate a staggering 12 cups of dry food and 1kg of chicken eggs a day, costing more than $160 a week.
But despite a healthy appetite, he doesn't share the same passion for exercise.
"He only needs to walk for 20-30 minutes per day; he's actually very lazy and likes to sleep most of the day," Mr Ryan said.

I noticed this article in the news today...
THE QUEEN ARRIVES IN SUNNY AUSTRALIA FOR HER 11-DAY TOUR
On that page I notice the following...

I wouldn't know if this is linked in any way, but I went to a
Wearing a aqua coloured Stewart Parvin military coat, the Queen, 85, made a touching tribute to the nation by wearing her Wattle brooch,
a yellow and white diamond gift from the people of Australia presented
during the Queen's visit in 1954 - the first by a reigning monarch.
place called the Coffee Bus this morning, while there I ate a Club
sandwich and also a Waffle and Waffle
I was only thinking is there any link to Wattle and Brooch
Quote:
I also wondered if there might be a link to The Generation Game
The Queen was greeted by school children who gave her flowers and cuddly toys after she inspected a Guard of Honour by the troops.

I was also wondering if there might be a link from Barbecued
During their 11 days the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, 90, will
be based for much of their time in the capital Canberra but will also
travel to Melbourne and Brisbane, experiencing everything from a giant barbecue to a tram ride and a riverboat journey.
Chicken and Dogs, I just been out without realising and purchased some
Barbecued Chicken for the Dogs over the road, who we feed often because
we don't think the people who own them feed them properly, I am only
guessing at all this.
My wife has just informed me that her brother inlaw is suffering from
Migraine, and another guy who lives with them has just gone over to
Australia for 3 months. Her sister owns quite a few dogs and also lots
of chickens and they live in Lamphun. Also one of the Dogs is called
Dong Hang which is Hang Dong
reversed, there is also a link to South Korea as the guy who owned the
Dog who is Gay and goes by the name of Arty, who also used to drink
B52's at the Mad Dog together with myself.
