Obama leaves God out of Thanksgiving address, Borg outraged, we live in an idiocracy

Are we still in the stone age? The supposed president of the "most powerful country on earth" has kowtow to delusional people in order to gain acceptance. Is everyone who believes in god delusional? No. But, thinking it's crucial and even necessary to mention the all powerful creator of the universe during every annual Thanksgiving celebration is lunacy. That's the first word that comes to my mind for this but there are many words that fit like dementia, derangement, and madness.

If this happened in an otherwise perfect world the paragraph above would still apply but the problem is compounded by the fact that the United States is being rotted to the core by extreme evil both from within and without and all that many people will raise a stink about is this? Their favorite belief isn't being given the credit they believe it deserves so they want to petition the government for a redress of grievances?

Why don't they use their time for verifiably real things that are impacting everyone like the growing police state, the continued loss of rights, and the burgeoning 1984-type society?
