Will someone please pardon my ignorance but what is the point of this forum? It is like a limbo for ex-Ickesters who are not ready yet for the real World, or JREF. They have seen through Icke and other characters yet can't quite get to grips with reality just yet. I would certainly put myself in that bracket, I spent seven years reading/believing Icke and I probably spend too much time fighting against his views, instead of doing something construtive. Trouble is my baloney detector goes apeshit, especially when I see Icke talk about the Moon being hollow.

At least it is busier then HPANWO. But it would be good if more of you chaps frequented the place.

Ethiopian famine aid 'siphoned off' to buy weapons according to rebels.

Millions of dollars in famine relief aid money, including the money raised from the charity supergroup Band Aid and the Live Aid concert held by Bob Geldof, was "siphoned off" by Ethiopian rebels to buy weapons.
One rebel said that at least US$ 95 million (£63 million) from — Western governments and private charities — was diverted into rebel coffers.

This was also noted in a declassified Central Intelligence Agency assessment of the famine situation titled Ethiopia: Political and Security Impact of the Drought, in which the report states,
"Some funds that insurgent organizations are raising for relief operations, as a result of increased world publicity, are almost certainly being diverted for military purposes."

During the 1984–1985 famine, Ethiopia was fighting Eritrean and Tigray rebels in those two northern provinces, although Eritrea has since gained its independence.
Since the countryside was out of the government's control, aid was brought in from neighboring Sudan.
Some aid came in the form of food, while other aid came as cash which would be used by the aid agencies to buy grain from Ethiopian farmers.

Rebels would disguise themselves as traders and merchants to get their hands on the currency.
"I was given clothes to make me look like a Muslim merchant.
This was a trick for the NGOs," said Gebremedhin Araya, a senior member of the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF).
Some funds that insurgent organizations are raising for relief operations, as a result of increased world publicity, are almost certainly being diverted for military purposes.

One such aid worker that brought the grain was Max Peberdy, who worked for the charity Christian Aid.

Araya said that only some of the sacks were filled with grain; the rest were filled with sand.
The transaction was overseen by a member of the Relief Society of Tigray (REST), the humanitarian wing of the TPLF.
The money was then given to TPLF leaders, including chairman Meles Zenawi, who has been Prime Minister of Ethiopia since 1991. Zenawi has not commented on the allegations.

Peberdy disputes the claims that he was duped, saying, "As far as we were concerned and as far as we were told by REST, the people we were dealing with were merchants."
He added, "It's 25 years since this happened, and in the 25 years it's the first time anybody has claimed such a thing."
Meles Zenawi, the Prime Minister of Ethiopia since 1991 and chairman of the TPLF since 1985.


However, an exiled TPLF commander who lives in the Netherlands, Aregawi Berhe, is backing Araya's story.
He said the group got their hands on over US$100 million (£66 million) of which 95% went to buy weapons and build up a hardliner Marxist party inside the rebel movement.
The remaining five percent would go to famine victims.
Berhe told the BBC that the group would put on a "drama" to get the money.
Berhe said, "The aid workers were fooled."

UPDATE 5.30pm: A DRIVER has been abducted from his Maserati sports
car after it was deliberately rammed in Melbourne's north.

Detectives are at the scene on Somerton Rd, Roxburgh Park, after the dramatic incident about 1pm today.

It is understood a Holden Statesmen and possibly another car slammed into
the luxury sports car near the corner of Mills Ave, just east of Pascoe
Vale Rd.

Witnesses say they heard shots fired before the abducted driver was snatched from the scene.

Acting Chief Commission Ken Lay, who was briefed on the incident this
afternoon, said initial evidence suggested that the occupants of one of
the cars had kidnapped the driver of another car.

A MAN is dead after being shot in the head in Sydney's east yesterday.

Police found the 43-year-old man in a granny flat at the rear of a
French St, Maroubra, home after neighbours reported hearing a gunshot
at 5.40pm.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was rushed to hospital
in a critical condition.

The man has since died.

Police last night set up a strike force to investigate the incident,
admitting that the man was known to police.

Officers sealed off the street as dogs searched the area.

Superintendent Gavin Dengate would not say how
the victim was known to police and said
officers were still trying to confirm if he was a local resident.

...now, I know, all too well, that life is a 'test', but like dixie,
I feel I've been 'set up' to 'fail', well, at least in this death contaminated 'life'.
See, as a tortured babe in Frankston Hospital, the excuse for removing me
from the safety of the ward, for 'their' 'special attention', was going for a "test",
and to this day, the word, or even the thought of "being tested", freezes me numb,
and I fail at things that are usually second nature to me.
For some months now, something, 'close to home', has been niggling me,
crouching, 'frozen' in a dark corner of my mind, but also, as dixie keeps posting,
I've
been suffering a lot of pain and sleep deprivation from my damaged head
and gut, making it hard to even want to think, let alone being able to
clearly think;
is it the old "test" phobia 'freezing' me, and causing me to 'fail' to do something I should,
or is the pain part of the saving grace of preventing/forestalling me from wrong/wrongly
'timed' action. Blessings, yes, I've also had and counted many during this time,
but I must admit, when my eye and half my head, recently re-swelled to look like it was
just after that first bashing, I chose to 'ride it out, wherever that ride ended', rather than
seek medical attention, and I still don't know if it was a 'test' of faith I 'passed', or
a 'test' of courage to 'trust' people at the hospital, I 'failed'.

Logically, I know that while even one of 'those' people is still employed at that hospital,
going there is more an act of attempted suicide than seeking healing, but I also know that
those I love, can only see it as the other way around, without knowing the detailed facts of
my, too long to explain in enough relevant detail, life.
The only thing we can and do all agree on, is that "peril", 'perilous tests', abound.

And, was that 'character' who first rang me as 'Jason'/'Billy Ruben',
threatening, warning or 'testing' me, when he kept repeating, that,
I was a "TARGET", I was "TARGETED"?

And always remember, 'they', "made it about me"; by attacking me on
line, rather than the Good News I was posting that 'they' DON'T want heard;
by sending "tintin" to spend 3 weeks in my home;
by literally attacking me AND MINE right after "tintin" left;
and continuing the abuse as I've tried to simply get on with
witnessing the best of Good News, and warning of the perils of denying God's Word.

And I can only pray, that those faithful servants of God, 'who know',

Positions in the Community that would cause a reasonable person to
believe their children are safe in their company?

The Child Sex Trade is an International Multi-Billion Dollar Industry,
and I believe this order has more to do with PROTECTING INVESTORS
from boycotts of their legitimate business's, than avoiding vigilantism,
which is a natural by-product of communities that DON'T TRUST their

Aldo DiNatale arrives at Sunshine Magistrates' Court last Thursday.

A VICTIM of convicted paedophile and prominent Werribee
businessman Aldo DiNatale has pleaded guilty to threatening to kill his
childhood tormenter.

DiNatale served six months in prison in 2008
after pleading guilty to indecently assaulting his nephew Nick Deleo between 1971 and 1973.

DiNatale also pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting a female victim, who was aged 10 and 11 at the time of the offences.

Deleo, now 47, was aged seven to nine when he was assaulted.

In May last year, County Court Judge Wendy Wilmoth ordered that
DiNatale pay each of his two victims $80,000 compensation for pain and
suffering.

In September this year, County Court Judge Richard Smith awarded
DiNatale’s female victim, now 51 and who wishes to remain anonymous, a
further $70,000 compensation for pain and suffering.

DiNatale has so far refused to pay, claiming at a creditors’ meeting
in September that he is only worth $19,900 and owes his own family trust
$1.3 million.

Deleo appeared at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court last Thursday and
pleaded guilty to one charge of threatening to kill with intent to cause
fear.

The charge arose from an incident at DiNatale’s office in Cherry St, Werribee, in November last year.

Deleo admitted last Thursday that he had confronted DiNatale about
the $80,000 compensation owing to him and that he threatened to kill him
if he did not pay up.

Deleo’s lawyer Patrick Bourke described his childhood experiences at the hands of DiNatale as a “prolonged and ongoing assault”.

“It’s a gross understatement that the offending has had a
catastrophic effect on a large, extended family where there are some
supportive of the offender and some of my client,” Mr Bourke said.

He said last November was the first time Deleo approached DiNatale since the assaults.

Judge John Bentley accepted that Deleo suffered post-traumatic stress
disorder as a result of DiNatale’s offending and that the threat to
kill had been made in the “heat of the moment”.

He placed Deleo on a 12-month good behaviour bond, on the condition he continue counselling, and did not record a conviction.
