Well I Don't Really Mind,
Because I Like Meeting People And Getting Drunk With Them...!!!

Basically We Stood Around The Stone Holding Hands,
And Meditating...!!!

Which Would Have Been Nice,
Except For Some Bloke Who Was The Head Honcho Was Making A Bloody Speech About Africa...!!!

Well We Told Him To Shut Up...!!!

I Just Enjoyed Being Under A Large Crystal Clear Sky Looking Up At The Universe,
And The Milky Way...!!!

And Looking Out For Shooting Stars...!!!

Nothing Really Happened,

But It Was A Good Experience All The Same...!!!

Going Down To The Barge Inn All Summer Has Got Me To Know A Lot Of People,

And I Met About Half A Dozen Ickesters...

Including The Bloke Who Looks Like Archiebald Tonn...

And About 20 People Who I Have Met Before At Various Weekends There...

Including Nat Rothschilds Bodyguard/Associate/Fixer/

The Funny Stuff Happened On Friday Night...!!!

Me And This Irish Girl And Her Boyfreind,
Were Sitting Around The Fire When This Bloke Came Along,

He Was 65 And A Bit Of A Nutter...!!!

He Plunged His Head Into Our Fire...!!!

Then Did It Again...!!!

Then He Pulled Out A Flaming Log From The Fire And Started To Eat It...!!!

Well I Said He Was A Complete Psychopath,
Because There Were Kids Around,

He Told Me He Was Very Damaged By Life...!!!

But Then The Whole Incident Was Forgot About...

And Everyone Carried On As Normal Till Sunrise...!!!

There Were About 4 People Putting The Flames Out At One Point...!!!

Needless To Say The Group Hug Was A Bit Lacklustre When It Came To My Turn...!!!

Which Was Fine By Me Cause I Am Not Really Comfortable With That Sort Of Stuff...

And I Noticed A Lot Of The Meditating Seemed To Happen After A Few Pints...!!!

And Given That There Is Hardly Any Light Pollution In The Wiltshire Plain...

It Is A Great Place To Observe The "Cosmos"...

I don't know what "Well People Probably Do Mistake Satellites For UFOs" has to do with my post but yes they do. The point is Handbag seems to honestly believe that people don't look at the night sky. That's his way of dealing with the simple fact that if the Apollo craft stayed in LEO people would have seen them. He also added that even if people did see them the they wouldn't know what they were looking at. The audacity of the bastard has no bounds. What he has said is there are no armature astronomers who look at the night sky (let alone lovers, people out doing weird things round stones and dog walkers etc) and if there were they don't know what they are looking at. He should go on the TV show the sky at night and tell Patrick Moore that lol. He should have gone on stage at a Queen gig and told Dr Brian May "you know what Bri you don't watch the night sky and if you did you wouldn't know what you are looking at" lol. Imagine how many people are out at any given time in the world watching the night sky. Out of them i should imagine these are large number who would spot a spacecraft that shouldn't be there. Everyone who looked up at the right time would have been able to see it. But Hagbard wipes all this away by claiming people don't look up and if they do their to thick to know what they are looking at. May be Hagbard should start doing lectures at armature astronomers clubs explain to them how they have it all wrong.

Yup The ISS is a fast moving bright object that can be spotted easily with the naked eye. Just like the Apollo craft would have been if they stayed in LEO for days on end. Go to the heavens above site and see when you can next see it over your way. You will see what i mean about Apollo.

Yeah Damn'sod the night sky looks different somehow in the Avebury & Glastonbury area, the stars look closer and the amount of shooting stars were fantastic to watch. I'm definitely going back again for some night gazing when I get time.
