This Time Next Week David Milliband Will Be Prime Minister...!!!
Tony Blair, David Miliband, and Javier Solana must be going through some anxiety-laden times right now.
My suspicions are that Javier Solana does not really intend to retire, but time and events will tell.
I have suspected that if he does retire that English Foreign Minister, 44 year old David Miliband will be his likely successor.
I have also suspected that David Miliband lacks Javier Solana's experience to handle the military as well as the foreign policy aspects of the complex, powerful position that Javier Solana himself shaped.

Gordon Brown 'stepping down as Labour leader'
http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2010/may/10/gordon-brown-statement
The Labour leadership battle is expected to become a bitter fight between Blairites and Brownites with Ed Balls and David Miliband the favourites to succeed.
Foreign Secretary David Miliband is the current favourite for the Labour leadership, but his younger brother is seen by many as Labour's best hope.
A contest between the two brothers would electrify the Labour leadership contest, but would also risk reopening the bitter rivalry between the party's Blairites and Brownites.
Ed, 40, cut his political teeth as a researcher for Mr Brown and remains close to the Prime Minister-He is regarded by many as a better public speaker and a more fluent television performer.
David, 44, is Mr Blair's protégé and spent years working for the former Prime Minister before standing for Parliament.
He has already secured heavyweight backing behind the scenes for his bid from a string of senior figures, including Mr Blair, Lord Mandelson, and Alan Johnson.
The two men, sons of the late Marxist intellectual Ralph Miliband, are the first brothers to serve in Cabinet at the same time since 1938.
David Miliband. Odds: 4/5 favourite
The 44-year-old Foreign Secretary has been installed as the odds-on favourite by the bookmakers following a flurry of bets, but he has earned a reputation for dithering after twice ducking his chance to depose Gordon Brown.
Mr Miliband is certain to run this time as the Blairite candidate and has already attracted formidable backing behind the scenes from Tony Blair and Lord Mandelson.
Home Secretary Alan Johnson is also an admirer. Mr Miliband was nicknamed ‘Brains’ by Alastair Campbell,
