between Metung and Raymond Island tonight.

Police and coast guard volunteers are searching the area.

But a police spokesman said there were no immediate concerns.

The weather is fine,” he said. “There is a possibility the boats have broken down.”

Police said those missing included adults and “a number of children.”

were supposed to return to land at 5pm.


But he said there were
no immediate concerns.
