Mayhem in Oxford St as protesters target stores including Topshop's flagship branch over firms avoiding tax bills


Anti tax-avoidance protesters UKUncut closed down Sir Philip Green’s flagship Topshop store on Oxford Street for hours today.
The protesters, who claim Green has dodged paying £300m in tax, also temporarily closed Oxford Street branches of BHS and Dorothy Perkins, both owned by Green’s Arcadia Group, as well as branches of Boots and Vodafone, both of which the group alleges are also avoiding paying UK tax.
